01 / DIGITAL INFRARED

Light in. Detail on screen.

The N4 brings an infrared illuminator, camera and built-in display into one device. In darkness, the illuminator lights the scene for the camera; the digital image appears on the internal TFT screen.

Digital infrared, not thermal imaging. The N4 forms an image from reflected light; it does not detect heat signatures.

Illuminate
An 850nm infrared LED provides adjustable illumination for dark scenes.
Focus
The F1.2, 25mm lens gathers reflected light. Use the focus wheel to sharpen the subject.
View
Look through the eyepieces at the 1.54-inch TFT display. Its screen resolution is 320 × 320.
Save
Capture a photo or video to the TF card. Recording resolution is separate from the internal display resolution.

02 / DAY INTO NIGHT

The light source changes; the camera-to-screen viewing process stays the same.

DAYLIGHT / IR OFF

Make use of available light.

For daytime observation, the camera uses the light already in the scene. Adjust focus to your subject and choose photo or video mode when you want to save a moment.

DARKNESS / IR ON

Add infrared illumination.

When ambient light is insufficient, enable IR and choose one of seven intensity levels. Infrared viewing is typically monochrome; subject detail depends on the scene and settings.

Viewing clarity varies with distance, ambient light, weather, subject reflectivity and IR level. These explanations do not promise a fixed viewing range.

03 / SEVEN IR LEVELS

Adjust the light to the scene.

Seven selectable levels let you adjust the 850nm illuminator rather than relying on one fixed output. Start low, observe the screen, then increase the level if the scene needs more illumination.

Use what the scene needs.More IR is not always clearer. Nearby reflective subjects may appear too bright, so adjust the level as well as focus.

Focus. Frame. Capture.

Focus wheel: Adjust the lens for the subject’s distance. Focus and digital zoom are separate controls.
Mode & playback: Switch between photo, video and playback to choose what you capture or review.
Shot button: Capture in the selected recording mode. Review saved files before continuing your observation.
IR & digital zoom controls: Use the adjustment buttons for illumination and digital framing. Follow the supplied manual for the short- and long-press actions.

Keep a record of what you observe. Photos, video and playback are built into the N4, with files stored on a removable TF / microSD card.

Does it work in complete darkness?

The built-in 850nm illuminator provides infrared light for the camera in darkness. Visibility and clarity vary with distance, the subject, weather and IR intensity; no fixed viewing range is guaranteed.

Can I save videos and photographs?

Yes. The N4 records 1080P video at 30 FPS and photographs up to 10MP. A 32GB TF card and card reader are included. It supports TF cards up to 128GB.

Can I use it hands-free?

An adjustable head strap is included, and the device can also be used handheld. The helmet in the supplier demonstration photo is not included.

How do I charge it, and how long does it last?

Charge the built-in 2000mAh battery through USB-C. The supplier states approximately 5 hours with IR on and up to 10 hours with IR off. Actual runtime varies with use and settings.

Can you deliver to my address?
